Unreal Engine 5

Utilized Lumen for dynamic global illumination, enhancing lighting realism in stealth and nighttime missions. Applied Nanite for handling highly detailed assets with minimal performance impact, contributing to rich, expansive game environments. Employed Blueprints for rapid prototyping and design iteration, and C++ for performance-critical systems such as AI behavior trees and custom player abilities. Leveraged Unreal Engine's modular architecture to work efficiently in a team-based development pipeline, supporting concurrent feature development and integration.

Meaningful details

Collaborated across multiple interdisciplinary teams to drive the development of ASSASSIN: The First List 2, a high-fidelity action-adventure title built in Unreal Engine 5. Played a key role in core gameplay development, leveraging both Blueprint Visual Scripting and C++ to implement combat mechanics, enemy AI, player interactions, and game logic systems. Created immersive visual effects using Niagara and Material Editor to enhance gameplay elements such as stealth movement, weapon trails, and environmental interactions. Led and participated in iterative beta testing cycles, providing critical feedback, resolving bugs, optimizing performance, and refining gameplay balance.

Project outcomes

Delivered a fully playable beta version with polished gameplay mechanics, cinematic quality visuals, and responsive controls. Successfully optimized game performance across different platforms, meeting both functional and artistic benchmarks. Positive feedback from testers for intuitive player control, immersive VFX, and engaging mission structure. Established reusable gameplay systems and components for future scalability and sequel development.
